Tyler,
our youngest, was riding in the tractor, with his Daddy the other day.
As parents, we've noticed that he seems to say a lot of vowels, and very few consonants.
Daddy, trying to fix the situation, has been pointing at things, then telling him can you say ______. You get the idea.
One day, in the tractor, Jeff was putting an ear tag in a new baby calf. Tyler was grabbing for the fascinating ear tagger and Jeff said: This is an ear tagger, can you say ear tagger?
T: Eea aaaer
J: No, ear Tagger, t -t -t tagger, you have to use your tongue!!
T: Looks at Jeff, looks and the ear tagger, thinks a minute, then. . . sticks out his tongue and licks the ear tagger!
Be careful what you tell a one year old!!!
