When the sun finally comes out, we love to head to our field for a family crocus hunt! It is so fun to be in the sunshine, see the new calves and search for the elusive first wildflowers!
The kids loved exploring, riding in the back of the truck, wading in the lakes and collecting snail shells and flowers.
I love when the world comes alive, the frogs start croaking, the birds start singing. . . . Things to remember when the next spring storm comes and leaves us with ice, snow and no power for 3 days!! Aw, but that's a story for another post. This was a great family afternoon.
